I’m a traveler first. In 2005 I had just moved from L.A. to Australia when four friends from where I grew up in Charleston, South Carolina came to visit. We drove into the wild outback to a town called Lightning Ridge. According to Native Australian Legend it’s the place where the great serpent of creation scraped its belly across the earth, leaving the ground rich in beautiful opals. The opals are the gemstone, and the fodder rock around them is referred to as “potch”. I paint from the memories and moments I made on this trip.

In 2012 I went to college at a community college in Rockville Maryland, earning an A.A. In Graphic Design. Upon completing this degree I went to University of Maryland in Baltimore County, earning my B.F.A. in Design. After graduating I worked for 2 years as a Graphic Designer in Baltimore.

In 2018 I moved to England where I spent a year and a half working as a designer, traveling around Europe, DJing at parties and events, cooking with friends, drinking at the pub and generally whooping it up. I made the move to Maine in May of 2021 and I am so excited to be here! I make all sorts of stuff and I have plenty to say.
